Terraced Garden
Hitchin, Hertfordshire

Our clients requested a relaxed, contemporary design for their garden in Hitchin. The site was terraced to create four different levels. A sandstone path intersects the garden, with inset LED lighting creating a very dramatic effect at night.

Diaphanous grasses give a sense of seclusion without affecting the sunlight.

Elsewhere, planting was given an exotic feel, using a hot colour palette, Australian tree ferns and New Zealand Flax. The lower level houses play equipment on a soft bark surface. A garden for all the family to enjoy!
